My last visit to Sin City was on a Vegas singles vacation. I had a blast and there were no issues in experiencing all that the city has to offer. Dining Delights: Foodies will love exploring the city’s diverse culinary scene. From gourmet dining to casual eateries, you can indulge in a wide range of international cuisines. I highly recommend checking out Ramsay’s Kitchen Harrahs. Hands down my favorite restaurant on the Strip.

Gaming Galore: For those who enjoy a little flutter, Las Vegas is home to some of the world’s most famous casinos. Whether you’re a seasoned gambler or just trying your luck for fun, the options are abundant. I personally love gambling in Harrah’s, The Linq, or The Flamingo.

Adventurous Activities: Beyond the casinos and clubs, you can embark on outdoor adventures like a day trip to the Grand Canyon, hike in nearby national parks, or take part in adrenaline-pumping experiences like helicopter rides over the Grand Canyon. There are many tours from Las Vegas to explore the surrounding area.

Best Places to Stay in Vegas for Singles

Harrah’s Las Vegas

Located centrally on the Las Vegas Strip, Harrah’s is the best place to stay in Las Vegas in my opinion. I’ve stayed there the last two times I have been and it does not disappoint.

The rooms are basic but provide everything you need. I mean are you spending a lot of time in your hotel room?

The hotel features two Starbucks, Ben and Jerry’s, Fulton Street Food Hall (amazing pastries!), and the amazing Ramsay’s Kitchen that will all satisfy your cravings. If you are looking for some evening entertainment, the Piano Bar is a great place to have some drinks and listen to live music.

One of the best features of this hotel is its central location. I love that when you enter from the Strip, you do not have to walk through the casino for 10 minutes to get to your hotel room. It is easy to navigate with clear signs. Harrah’s is one of the best places to stay in Vegas.

Harrah’s is part of the Caesars Rewards program. If you sign up as a member then you can use your card to accumulate points at any of the Caesars properties (at least 7 in Las Vegas alone), on virtually everything in the hotels including your stay, gambling, and restaurants. Even if you are not a big gambler, you get offers for discounted or free stays in their hotels. I ended up getting 3 free nights to stay at Harrah’s on my last visit!

The Cosmopolitan Hotel

The Cosmopolitan Hotel, centrally located on the strip, is the perfect Las Vegas hotel for singles. Between the rooftop pools and bars, multiple nightclubs, and Hollywood glamour theme, you’ll never want to leave!

What makes The Cosmopolitan unique are the balcony suites with incredible strip views (at an affordable price!). You’ll feel like a movie star watching the Bellagio Fountain Show from your room every night.

The Cosmopolitan is heaven for singles looking for exciting nightlife. Those interested in glitz and glamour can sip on drinks at the iconic Chandelier Bar or in the Clique Lounge.

If you’re interested in a daytime party atmosphere, you won’t have to travel far! The rooftop Marquee DayClub is the quintessential Vegas pool party experience. With a DJ, full menu, and bottle service, it’s the best place for singles to mingle!

Like many Vegas hotels, The Cosmopolitan offers a rewards program that can earn free nights and discounts! With a luxury spa, high-end restaurants, and regular happy hour deals, it’s the perfect hotel for singles in Vegas and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here!

The Aria Resort & Casino

The Aria is conveniently connected to the Bellagio, Vdara, and Park MGM by Sky Tram. Right next door you’ll find some of the best luxury shopping in Vegas: The Shops at Crystals. There’s a Starbucks for your morning coffee and a Patisserie with incredible pastries and top-notch macaroons.

It features several top Vegas restaurants, such as the Jean Georges Steakhouse and Javier’s. A fitness center with personal trainers allows you to work off the calories you’ll undoubtedly consume! Other amenities include three pools, Gazebos, Cabanas for the perfect lounge experience, and a spa and salon.

The best way to get perks at the Aria is to join MGM Rewards. MGM Rewards is a great program because you can collect points at all MGM hotels and casinos. Depending on how much you stay and play, you might even get free stays, a hotel credit, and airport pickup by limousine (my favorite perk!). If it’s within your budget, I recommend booking a sky suite, or a corner suite at Aria Resort. These rooms aren’t just gorgeous, but they’ll spoil you with the ultimate Las Vegas view!

Hilton Grand Vacations

For a peaceful getaway to Las Vegas without compromising on location, you can’t miss the Hilton Grand Vacations on the Las Vegas Strip.

This is one of the few non-party hotels on the strip – it doesn’t have a casino, it doesn’t have a day club, and it’s all-around a fairly chill place to stay in Sin City, whether you’re in Vegas for five days or just a couple.

There’s a large pool and gym, so it’s super easy to escape the chaos and just soak up the sun here. Hilton Grand Vacations provides a relaxed, quiet atmosphere to unwind but still be close to the action outside the doors.

The Deuce Bus stop is right outside, so getting around Vegas with public transport is a breeze from here. You really don’t need to hire a car!

Park MGM

Located on the Strip, you’ll find Park MGM, Las Vegas’s first smoke-free hotel. It took over the Monte Carlo where they underwent major renovations and upgrades and opened officially in 2018. Now, it features some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas including Eataly, an Italian marketplace with incredible fresh food, NoMad, a fine-dining experience set in a library, and Best Friend, a Korean-Mexican fusion spot by Roy Choi.

The rooms are nicely furnished with stellar views of the Strip, sustainable toiletries, and plenty of outlets for charging your devices. The hotel has a wonderful pool, spa, and salon, and Dolby Live, where musicians have their residencies.

Park MGM is great for singles because of its central location near T-Mobile arena, other shows like Mad Apple in New York New York, and attractions such as FlyOver, which is right across the street.

The Jockey Club

The Jockey Club is one of the best-hidden gems in New Orleans, even though it’s tucked away in one of the most desirable locations on the Las Vegas Strip, overlooking the Bellagio Fountains.

The Jockey Club is an older timeshare resort, but regularly rents out rooms on standard hotel booking platforms. While the decor is slightly outdated, you can’t beat the prices, especially for the location—with nightly rates regularly below $150 and no resort fee. It’s perfect for a solo traveler who would rather spend money at casinos or on shows than in a tiny hotel room.

And while the Jockey Club has some nice amenities in its own right, like a pool, sauna, and grills, the nicest feature is that you can get access to The Cosmopolitan’s stunning rooftop pool and tennis courts.

Bellagio Hotel

The Bellagio is one of the best places for singles to stay in Las Vegas. With its renowned luxurious accommodations, it’s ranked as one of the best resorts on the strip.

The Bellagio is famed for its entertainment offerings, including the must-see Fountains of Bellagio and the famous “O” by Cirque du Soleil performances. The hotel’s upscale amenities, such as the dining options and chic lounges, are an ideal spot for singles to socialize and connect. I enjoy the bar at the Mayfair Supper Club, especially because of the fountain views!

Additionally, one of the main draws for singles is the Bellagio’s prime location on the strip. Nearby, singles will find nightlife, entertainment, and dining options all just a short walk away at other hotspot resorts like the Cosmopolitan, Aria, and the Lync.

Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

The Flamingo Hotel is just as fun as it sounds, filled with colorful lights, inviting, clean, and fun for whatever your trip may be. I stayed here as a single woman on a business trip. The Flamingo’s gym was a great way to start the morning, onsite coffee made for a great pick me up, and the spa was much needed after any meeting.

But of course, the first floor was where all the fun was! It’s not only located on the strip but there’s an entire casino floor; as well as shows, outdoor pools, a sportsbook room, a salon, and a convenience shop.

As a quick heads up, the Flamingo’s nightly sticker price is usually quite a deal, but there are usually some hidden costs/fees associated with any of the hotels that do that. To reduce the costs and make the most out of your stay, do as much self-check-in as possible on their app and kiosks (they charge service fees).

To even better enjoy your stay, be sure to explore the hotels and strip not only during the day but also at night, they give a completely different view and feel that you’ll love!

Desert Rose Resort

If you’re seeking a quieter adventure in Las Vegas and would rather not stay somewhere with a casino, check out The Desert Rose Resort. This modern Southwestern-inspired property is tucked just off of the Strip but close enough that you can walk to many activities or the Monorail (the station is located inside MGM, which is a 10-minute walk).

Aside from the calmer environment, another selling point for staying here is that each suite has fully-equipped kitchens and separate living areas. This is ideal if you want to save a little money on dining out or have dietary restrictions, although you can find everything from street food to vegan fine dining in Las Vegas.

A few other perks for your stay at the Desert Rose Resort — there is a lovely pool area surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, which is perfect when it’s warm, a fitness center, and onsite parking is free (nothing is free in Vegas, so enjoy this!).

Safety for Singles in Vegas:

Las Vegas is generally considered a safe city for tourists, including singles. However, like any major urban area, it’s essential to stay cautious and aware of your surroundings. Here are some safety tips:

  • Stay in well-lit areas and avoid walking alone late at night, especially in less crowded areas.
  • Keep your belongings secure and be mindful of pickpockets, particularly in crowded places.
  • Use reputable transportation services like licensed taxis or rideshare apps.
  • Stay hydrated and drink responsibly, as excessive alcohol consumption can impair judgment and personal safety.
  • Plan your activities and accommodations to avoid last-minute decisions that might lead to unexpected situations.

Las Vegas is an exciting and dynamic city, making it an ideal destination for those seeking adventure, entertainment, and unforgettable experiences. Staying on the Las Vegas Strip not only provides easy access to the city’s top attractions but also ensures a vibrant and memorable stay. It is also easy to head out of town for a day trip to the Grand Canyon or go hiking in the nearby parks.

With a commitment to safety and an open mind, you can enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer, and finding the best places to stay in Vegas for singles is not an issue when you have the right information! Safe travels!
