This upscale mountain retreat offers an array of amenities to ensure an unforgettable stay, including pet-friendly rooms. Our room featured elegant decor and a private balcony that had a stunning view of the mountains.
If you are seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, the on-site spa offers a range of treatments and massages to soothe both body and mind. After a day of exploring the stunning outdoors, unwind in the outdoor hot tub while gazing at the majestic peaks that surround the property. That was amazing after a day of exploring the mountains.
Food enthusiasts will delight in the hotel’s culinary offerings. The hotel boasts an exquisite restaurant that serves locally-inspired cuisine made from the freshest ingredients, accompanied by an extensive wine list. We were there for a Christmas party so we were able to enjoy the amazing food.

Just a short drive from Calgary to Canmore, it is a charming, reasonably priced inn in a quiet area of Canmore near Cougar Creek.
I love the comfortable, luxurious, and spacious rooms with unique layouts including deluxe lofts with vaulted ceilings and a fully equipped apartment.
Couples can unwind in the games room, play a game of pool, or relax in the lounge next to a roaring river rock fireplace. On a warm summer night, the outdoor deck and patio are the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and beautiful scenery.
Silver Creek Lodge
Silver Creek Lodge is a hidden gem nestled amidst the majestic Rockies. I love staying at this place whenever I get the chance! With a perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary amenities, The lodge has both rooms and suites catered to its guests. I recommend splurging and getting a suite that provides lots of space, a full kitchen, an electric fireplace, and a patio with outdoor furniture. Silver Creek does offer some pet-friendly rooms as well which makes it even better.
The lodge offers outdoor hot tubs to soak in after spending a day exploring the area. The Bodhi Wellness Spa is amazing! It offers soothing treatments and services to leave rejuvenated. You can savor culinary delights at Wild Orchid Bistro and Sushi Lounge, which offers Asian-inspired dishes crafted to tantalize your taste buds.
Georgetown Inn
The Georgetown Inn is a charming boutique hotel that combines rustic mountain elegance with modern comforts. This historic inn offers only 20 guest rooms, and each one has a cozy, inviting, and English historical feel and design to it. You can be taken back to the English past and some of the rooms are suited for royalty. The Inn also offers pet-friendly rooms.
I stayed in this hotel quite a long time ago, but I remember it to always be a great, intimate place to stay. My favorite feature I remember was the clawfoot soaker tub that is present in some of the specialty rooms. I can’t wait to go back and stay there again very soon.
Guests can also savor delicious cuisine at the onsite restaurant, the Georgetown Pub, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The Fish & Chips has been voted the best Fish & Chips in Canmore for 11 years in a row.
